Moving Part II

So here we are 2 months after the move and I am finally getting myself to have time to sit and write. Of course it doesn't help not having the internet where we are... So the move was very interesting but that is all I will say about that. Eric, his mom, Bostyn, Loki and I loaded up my little Kia with all we could fit in it and took off from Murray on Sept 11. We got about 30 minutes away when we pulled over because Eric was suddenly super tired. I hopped into the drivers seat and took us out of Utah and through all but about an hour of Wyoming. Eric then took over the driving, however I was not able to sleep because I was the one who had to make sure that Eric didn't fall asleep. Before leaving home I had asked Eric if we could make a few stops along the way because I really wanted to see some historical sites. We took a detour and made our way down to Nauvoo, which is one of my favorite places to see. However, for reasons we won't go into, we only stayed for about 30 minutes or so before taking off again. On the way back we ended up getting slightly lost and found our way to Davenport, Iowa... I found this hilarious because this is where my brother went and spent a summer doing security systems. While there he met this HORRIBLE girl and became engaged. Thankfully it didn't work out... so anyway, somehow we ended up in this bad section of town and ran into this girls kind of people. We finally got back on track and decided to spend the night in a motel because we were super tired and really needed some sleep. The next day we continued driving and ended up making it to Eric's grandma's house around 10:00 pm. We stayed in Monaca (right outside of Pittsburgh, PA) for a few days and just relaxed from the drive. Eric showed me around and I got to see where he grew up, which was pretty cool! The night before we left we found a new home for Loki with a family friend. I am very thankful for this... he drove me nuts! Friday morning we once again got back into the car and headed for Eric's dad's place in Maine. This time it was just Eric, Bostyn and me. It was great! I was sorely disappointed when we saw a sign for Boston and then found out that right before the city we would take another exit and just barely miss the city of my dreams. Later on that night we ran into a horrible traffic jam, we were basically stuck in place for about 4 hours. Thanks to this we ended up pulling over into a truck stop and falling asleep for the night. Little did we know... we were only an hour or so away from our destination. After waking up from a really bad night's sleep we drove the rest of the way and we finally made it!

ER Visit...

So my shoulder has been hurting me for about a week now and nothing has been done to it... Eric finally dragged me next door into the ER to get things checked out. I went back and they asked all the standard questions about what I had done to it... stuff like that. I guess since I had no explanation and since I haven't done anything they started asking if there were any heart conditions in my family. Suddenly they were super concerned about my heart... and since my dad had some freak thing happen with his heart that killed him... I of course was totally freaking out over something being wrong with my heart. They did an EKG which came back normal and all is well... They decided that I just have muscle strains...

They told her for a certain number of books that she read she would get something she really loved.... This sounded like a great idea to this little girl... Soon she began reading as much as she could and getting the thing she loved... Here she is over 20 years later and finally found this thing again...

Doggy Jail...

Well we finally found Bostyn... She ended up getting picked up soon after she took off and spent the night in doggy jail. I really wish I would have taken a picture of her while behind bars but here she is after getting picked up and home...

Weekend At Charlie's

Eric and I spent the weekend over at his "friend" Charlie's house taking care of the animals while he was gone to a tournament. We loaded the dogs up in the car and spent the weekend there. On Sunday Eric let Bostyn out and off she took to explore... we spent the rest of the day looking for her all over the neighborhood... Of course she was nowhere to be found....

Eric and I came down to visit my family tonight and ended up going to the annual Grandview East Stake BBQ... This year they had some really fun blow up toys for the kids, which Ry and Lilly LOVED!

Zoo Time...

Today Cori, the kids and I spent the day at Hogle Zoo. I absolutely love going to the zoo and turn into a little girl all over again. The kids had fun seeing all the animals but ended up getting really tired and grumpy by the end... All they really wanted was the toy Cori promised to get them if they were good. Lilly got herself a white tiger, because Whitney loves them and of course Ry got himself a new snake...

Summer Fun...

Once again it is our week to have Ry and Lilly. With my mom gone to girls camp and Eric gone to training for a week I decided to head down and play with Cori and the kids. After getting them we went and had snow cones and played at the SCERA Shell. They ended up getting bored quickly so we decided to just go home and watch movies... More fun to come tomorrow...

Lacey's Baby Shower

Lacey and Asher had their baby shower today over at Lacey's mom's house. Cori and I decided to go to it together since my mom left earlier in the day for girls camp for the week... I headed down early so that we could have our sister lunch date... How could I turn down a trip to Red Lobster with my sister???

Reasons I Hate Our Apartment...

I am trying really hard to stay positive in my life however there are a few things that get me down and really bother me... And since this is my blog I figure if no one else wants to read it (cause let's face it... I hate it when all people do is complain!) they can just skip over this entry... Here are my top reasons for hating this apartment and wanting to move...

5. People I hate to tell you this... but my car belongs to me... I don't know how many notices we get from the managers about keeping our animals on leashes, this applies to everyone... Keep your cat or whatever it is off the hood and top of my car. I am tired of new deep scratches all over my car. The theory of... this is my car... also belongs to the person or people who have now broken into my car twice and thrown everything from my glove box all over my car...

4. When we rented our apartment it clearly states that if we have anything go wrong after hours we are to call security... Where is this security that they speak of? Never once has anyone answered the phone for them... nor do they actually patrol the apartment building like they are supposed to... We will get more into incompetent people in a minute...

3. I don't understand the reasoning of the people who work here... They decided to paint the parking stalls a few days ago... which is fine... however WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!

Okay... yes they do look a bit better with the new paint but BLACK???? It really sucks that the lights don't work and the stalls are just calling out to people... "BREAK IN TO MY CAR!!! No one will even see you... Oh yeah... look around security isn't anywhere to be found."

2. How is it that everything has broken down at once?

Something... who knows what happened to clog the sink. The sink ever so nicely decided to back up into the dishwasher as well...

The air conditioner is leaking and we have to have something to catch the water in or it will get all over the bathroom sink and on the carpet...

The thermostat is stuck at 60... I am getting frozen out of my own apartment...

Lastly the coil broke in the oven and I found this out when I turned the oven on and a fire started in the oven... Thankfully it was small and went out fast...

Remember incompetent people that work at the apartments? The picture above was taken after maintenance came and "fixed" the problem... Last time I checked moldy green water in my dishwasher wasn't there in the first place... The great thing was when it randomly decided to start leaking all over the kitchen floor... Back to the statement about getting papers from the office about after hours stuff... they also gave us a paper for emergency maintenance. I guess a flooded kitchen doesn't qualify as emergency. They told us they would be over in a few days to fix it... The house smells lovely now!
And now for the last...

1. Our apartment has been broken into a few times. And YES we have been home each of the times and scared them away. We live in a third floor apartment and they love to jump the stairs onto our balcony...

It is definitely time for us to move...

Our apartment is right next to a creek... This creek has been increasing in water for quite a while. I have been watching it and it has been kinda exciting to see it rising... Thankfully our apartment is on the third floor...

4th of July Celebration...

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated in history and the events leading to the Revolutionary War is one of my favorite things to learn about. I am so grateful for those who came before us that fought to free us and keep us free... Thank you!

So last night was the Stadium of Fire. While my family doesn't normally go to the stadium we do our own celebrating. We have a bbq and light fireworks while we wait for the Stadium to have their fireworks... This year Eric decided that we were going to bring the dogs with us (which is the biggest pain in the butt but it is better than coming home to a disaster in the bedroom!) Ammon and Lacey were here from St. George and Ammon's friend Ron and his dad, brother and friend joined us... It was so much fun to celebrate with the people you love... This year Utah lifted its ban on fireworks that go off the ground, however they really should give lessons on how to light them off... Our neighbor's lit one that fell over and started shooting at us and then started a fire... That was fun...

I got a little bored waiting for the air force fly over so I decided to take some random pictures while I waited... (The fly over is my favorite thing ever!...)

Death Day 2011

It really amazes me how fast time goes by. Five years ago today I lost one of my heroes... I will be the first to admit that my dad and I didn't always get along... in fact for a few years there was a lot of tension between us but all the same I consider him to be my hero and he is greatly missed! I can't believe all that has happened since this day... (For those that don't really know the story... I have it on my old blog... you can read the story there by clicking HERE) Since this day my family has a tradition of sending red balloons with messages written on them to my dad. I love doing this! Here are some pictures over the past five years...

Here are the pictures that we took this year... Whitney was the only one not able to make it to the cemetery (after all Australia is quite far) but Dion and Whit let balloons go over there...

Las Vegas...

This past weekend was the BIG UJC (Ultimate Jousting Championship) down in Vegas... We left and drove down on Tuesday for a fun filled week. It was nice to be able to stop down in St. George and see Ammon and Lacey before continuing on further south... I decided to make the drive down fun and made a list of all 50 states and Washington DC so that I could mark off all that I saw... This definitely kept me entertained!

So I will be the first to admit that I am a big nerd and LOVE watching the History Channel... ( I absolutely love that Eric actually likes watching historic documentaries as well!) Eric and I have seen almost every episode of Pawn Stars that is out. We just had to stop in and see the shop on our way in to Vegas...

After checking the shop out we headed to the South Point Casino, where we spent the rest of the week. It is one of the few places that actually has bingo, so we decided to play while waiting for everyone else to get down... It brought back all the fun memories of playing with my grandma every Saturday!
Wednesday morning we met down at breakfast and then went and had some fun at the arcade while waiting for everyone else to either get up or finish eating...

After playing for a little while it was time to get down to business and get things ready for the rest of the week...

After a while I ended up taking charge of Charlie's kids... I found out how much they are like their dad... If you don't know him, he is a handful! These kids are crazy! After a while I took them back up to my room so that they could calm down and watch some Disney Channel...

Thursday was the big school show, where a bunch of schools came to get a lesson on jousting and then see a joust. I love watching these and learning more and more about the subject...

So the jousting ended up not going so well during the school show so the boys were told that Friday would be practice/qualifying for the tournament all day... The wives and girlfriends were told to go do something else (which sucks because I feel out of place with the girlfriends)... I ended up going to the pool with a few of the girls. This made for a really awkward time. They were definitely dressed with very little on and spent the whole time smoking and drinking. It was not a fun time for me. I finally went back up to my room and just fell apart over it all (I had been having issues with asthma and it got worse after that)... Eric ended up pulling himself out of the tournament because his armor didn't fit him the way it should and he felt like it would be a bad idea to joust in it... I am glad that he ended up listening to this prompting! Later that night was the big Budweiser promo that the guys were required to go to... I refused to have anything to do with the situation and ended up going out with Kim and her friends(who drove down for the tournament), which was nice because I really needed to get away at this point from all the drama... We went and spent a night out on the town and had a blast!

Saturday finally came, and with it came the tournament. Since Eric decided not to joust he was asked to be one of the judges. It was nice not to have to worry about him getting injured. I was able to relax and enjoy the whole night...

Sunday we spent the day loading everything up and then we went out on the strip with Eric's friend Brian and his wife Kelly... After exploring for a bit we finally headed home... I am definitely glad to be back!

Orem Summerfest Parade

Eric, Loki, Bostyn and I met up with my family on the parade route down in Orem... I love this family tradition that we have! The kids always seem to have a blast going to this parade and this year the kids did not disappoint. They had been staying with Grandma for the week and Ry has been watching her workout routines and was showing us how grandma exercises... It was ADORABLE!!! I love my nephew and niece!

With Eric not feeling the best and wanting to spend the day relaxing in bed, sleeping all day I decided to head down to my mom's house for the day to play. I thought I would be a nice wife and bring Bostyn with me so that he wouldn't have to keep getting up to get after her, and this also gave her the opportunity to go down to Grandma's (which she doesn't get to do a lot because of Grandma's cats...) and play with her favorite cousins... She had a blast jumping all over the kids and running through the water...

Tonight we had our first bbq of the summer season! I love the summer and being able to bbq and just spend time outside! The weather is finally starting to get decent enough for us to be able to be outside. Hopefully it lasts!

Memorial Day Weekend...

For Memorial Day weekend Eric and I decided to take our first trip together. We were planning on going down to St. George for a tournament but it was cancelled so we decided to play in Vegas for a couple of days and then hang out with Ammon and family in St. George. The weekend started Thursday morning with us picking Ry and Lilly up from day care and heading down to my mom's. Thankfully my mom decided to be nice to me and go to the cemetery early so that I could go with her. (it is our tradition to go the Saturday before)... These are basically the only pictures I took over the weekend...

After getting done at the cemetery Eric, Cori, the kids and I took off for St. George. I always forget how difficult it can be to travel with kids... sitting still is VERY hard! Finally we got them to calm down and the car ride was peaceful!

After dropping everyone off with Ammon we made our way down to Vegas for a mini little honeymoon. We spent most of our time hanging out in the Excalibur casino, watching Eric play blackjack. I really wanted to see The Tournament of Kings to see what it was like compared to the real thing. We ended up getting free tickets to it for going to a time share presentation. I am kinda glad we ended up not paying for the tickets because nothing compares to the real sport of jousting. Each fake fall they had was so theatrical that it drove me crazy! On Saturday morning we made our way back to St. George where we spent the rest of the day playing with the kids... It was really nice to be able to get away for a few days!

On a side note... this weekend we added a new member to the Dunton family. Welcome Camelot!

Both Bostyn and Loki don't know what to think about Camelot. They are a bit scared and unsure of her. They went to camp while we were gone and came back to meet their new sibling :)

Busy Month...

The month of May was a busy one for us. Every weekend we were up in Ogden at the Utah Ren Faire. I finally got to see what the whole jousting thing is all about and I will say that I am hooked on watching it! I really don't understand why these guys decide to do the sport, but it sure is fascinating to watch. Eric hasn't jousted while I have been there, which a part of me is glad about. However I did get to see him do the games part, which was a ton of fun... Kim and the kids came up and spent some time with us as well. Here are a few pictures...

Mom's Surprise Party...

This next week my mom turns 60. My sister Cori thought it would be a great idea to throw her a surprise birthday party to celebrate this milestone. She planned the whole thing and then gave me things to do to help her out. We had a bbq and lots of good food. My mom's siblings both came along with my cousin Kara, her daughter Kelsey, my mom's best friends Jayelynn and Elaine and the babies. Jayelynn and Elaine took my mom out to the mall to go have some fun and so that we could get it all set up. Everyone arrived and we got ready for the big surprise. The kids got in the trampoline and when my mom came out she saw only them and not everyone else on the other side of the door. She got all excited to have the kids down and then got an even bigger surprise when everyone else "jumped out"...

Baseball...

A few days ago Cori asked us if we wanted to go on a group date with her and her friend Paul, and Ammon and his wife Lacey. Of course I thought it would be a TON of fun. It usually is interesting getting together with my siblings. We decided to go to a Salt Lake Bee's baseball game. They decided to drive up to Sandy area and take trax the rest of the way. Since one of the stops is across the street from our apartment I asked them to get off at that stop and we would meet them and ride the rest of the way with them. The weather was freezing cold but it was a lot of fun!

Ry's Rising Star Party...

After a wish is granted by Make a Wish they have a party for the child who had their wish granted. Last night we went to Rykert's party. I am loving seeing how grown up my little Ry is becoming.
Once getting there we went into the auditorium where they showed us a short video all about Make a Wish... We were then given a tour of the facility.

After our tour we went back to the the auditorium for refreshments and so that Ry could decorate his star for his big moment. Refreshments were some of Ry's favorite things. We had a cake, a bunch of gummy things (bears, worms, sharks), fruit tray and vegetable trays.

Now comes time for Ry's big moment.... I tried to video tape it but it ended up not recording...

My Day Alone

So on Thursday afternoon I dropped Eric off at the ROTC house so that he could go for his final. I decided to spend a little time at my mom's home before coming back home... Once getting home my fun with the dogs started. Bostyn was running all over the place and was super hyper! I attempted to finally get her to fall asleep around 1 am... I of course failed at this attempt and finally decided that I had had enough so she went into her kennel. The dogs wouldn't let me sleep in so I was up early and decided to start watching Army Wives... which I must say is a pretty good show! All the while the dogs are playing and going crazy around me. I looked down to see what they were up to and thankfully I had my camera right by me...

Eric brought this little dog bed home a few days ago for Loki to use since it wasn't getting used anymore at his friends house... So much for that idea. Bostyn totally destroyed it. I picked the stuffing up multiple times but somehow she ended up getting more and more. My livingroom was covered in it... After picking this up a few times this is what I saw...

I spent most of my day watching the dogs running around the livingroom chasing each other and then biting at each other... Who would have thought that would entertain them... I also figured that if I let them out every 45 minutes maybe I would be lucky and not have to clean any messes up... Boy was I wrong. Why is it that as soon as they come in they decide to go to the bathroom on the carpet? It is SUPER frustrating! After hours of running around here are the next set of pictures...

Finally some peace and quiet! Of course any time that I moved Bostyn was up and running around. Finally before bed I decided to take them out one last time. They went out and peed and I let them back in once they wanted in... About 5 minutes later I smelled the worst smell in all the world! Of course Bostyn was responsible for a HUGE pile of poo laying in the livingroom floor. I feel kinda bad about my reaction but hopefully after pushing her nose semi deep in it she will learn her lesson. By this time I am EXTREMELY tired of dealing with her so here she is...

And here she will stay for the rest of the night because I am not dealing with her jumping all over me tonight while I attempt to get some rest... And of course when I went to put her in the kennel I just had to take this picture of Loki and yes this is basically how he sleeps every night (however I did pull the covers up a little so that I could get this picture)...
Only 12 more hours until Eric comes home! I can't wait to see him and spend the rest of the weekend in his arms cuddling!

Mr. and Mrs....

Well we actually went through with it! Eric and I got paid yesterday so we decided to head down to Provo to get our marriage license. We figured we had a month to get married in from the time we bought the license, I am sure we could get some one to marry us by then (we had been leaving messages at the courthouse trying to arrange a judge to marry us... of course we had had no luck getting a returned phone call)... After getting the license we figured we had a little bit of time before I was going to babysit for my friend Angela. We went over to the 4th District Court and went to see if it would be easier to arrange a time in person. We got to the counter and the lady was SUPER helpful! She went to see if she could find someone who would know a judges schedule. She brought back with her a guy that worked for one of the judges. He told us that it was lunch time so he would run up and see what the judges schedule was like for the rest of the day. A few minutes later he came back down with Judge Davis who was more than willing to take us right up to his court room (Room 301) and marry us right away. He went off to find us another witness and we met him up in his room. With in a few minutes Eric and I were married! How crazy is that!!! I never would have thought that I would be getting married when I got out of bed and got ready (obviously you can tell by what I was wearing)...

My friend Angela took this picture right after she found out about us getting married... So about 30 minutes after it happened.... It happens to be the only picture we have from the big day...

Our Babies...

I will be the first to admit that I am not a big dog fan... I grew up with cats... My family had one dog and she was not the normal type of jumpy dog... That is what I hate about dogs, they love to jump all over people and somehow they seem to know that I hate it and so I am the victim most of the time... Eric has had Loki for about 9 months now and Loki has always had "friends" to play with and was not really liking being left alone while we were gone to work and school so we decided to get him a friend... I am guessing that right about now he is wishing that he was alone!

So on March 5th, after the whole proposal thing Eric and I went looking around for a friend for him. I tried to convince Eric that a cat was the best bet... however I lost. Instead we ended up bringing Bostyn home with us.

Loki is a pretty calm dog that honestly is a lot like a cat. Bostyn on the other hand is all puppy! She is all over the place! She LOVES Eric and wants to be by him all the time, especially when it is bedtime. She squeezes her way in between us and I am never allowed to be by Eric... Hopefully she learns soon!

These are some of the things we have witnessed with our two dogs:

Bostyn, our American Bulldog, gets into everything... Including Eric's sock...
Eric and I brought the dogs in the car with us to get them out of the house. We ran in to an appointment. I came out to the car a little while later and this is what I found... What it doesn't show is that when I first came out Bostyn was on top of him. My guess is that Bostyn was annoying him and so Loki tried to get away by crawling into Eric's jacket. He ended up getting stuck in the sleeve and it took a while to get him out. I guess in the end Bostyn won!
This is what Loki has to put up with... Bostyn will not leave him alone. If he goes back in the bedroom to take a nap she is soon in there searching for him.

Engagement...

On the Saturday before Valentine's day Eric and I decided to go and look at rings and see what was out there and what I liked. After looking around at a few stores I saw this ring and fell in love with it! Eric purchased it and then we had to wait for a week or so for it to be sized... Eric and his friend went and picked it up and then I attempted to wait patiently for him to propose. He took my car to get it and made sure that I knew he had put it in my glove box...

On March 5th he finally decided to propose... I hadn't been feeling the greatest so I was laying on the couch when I heard him tell his dog Loki to come and see me... I ignored it but his dog kept coming over to me... Finally I looked up and he told me that he had been trying to get the dog to come and see me because my ring was on the dog's collar. Oops! What a cute idea... Too bad I didn't pick up on it soon enough!

ROTC Banquet...

Every year the BYU and UVU ROTC meet together for a banquet. Eric was required to attend and was requested to bring a date.... Truthfully men should never be put in charge of planning these things because Eric was informed of this about a week in advance. It was also a formal thing and so I was only given about a week to find a formal dress, which can be kinda hard to do, especially when I am so short and have to get formals hemmed. Luckily I was able to find a dress and find someone who was able to hem it...

Rykert's Parade

My nephew Rykert was diagnosed last summer with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This has been something that has been hard on my family... I have always considered him my little miracle because he has really helped me. He was born 22 May 2006 and my dad passed away on 1 July 2006 and I got divorced 28 August 2006. Spending time with him has really helped me get over the crap that has happened in my life. For him I am extremely grateful! A few months ago my brother got the idea to submit Ry's name to Make a Wish... On Feb 28th his wish was granted. When they grant a wish they make a HUGE deal out of it. They had a fire truck come into his street... They picked him up and let him ride in the truck, sound the siren, and play with the hose and spray the water...Thank you so much for making Ry's wish come true!

Just in case you couldn't tell... His wish was to go to Disney World to ride on the roller coasters...

My sister Cori and I love celebrating our birthday's together... We were born one year and one week apart and grew up sharing parties. So on the Friday after mine and the Friday before hers we had our big family get together. We decided to go bowling and out to eat... The babies were down for the weekend so they got to share in the fun...

Eric is simply amazing! He decided that he wanted to send me something at work... I was a bit nervous because of the whole who knows what would happen if people knew we were dating... Valentines Day came and I was wondering what he was really going to do...
He sent me a dozen roses... and a note that said "Happy Valentine's Day! I'm sending you these dozen roses, eleven real one fake to say I will love you until the last one dies. Your Love." HOW CUTE!!!
So then I came back to work the next morning to find this...
I am thinking someone is not very happy about what they got (or in her case didn't get) for Valentines...

So I figured I would write my side of the story when it comes to Eric and me being together... Maybe one day I can get him to write his story... Here's to hoping! ;)

The story begins on January 7, 2011. I was sitting at work bored out of my mind, which is common because work SUCKS! In walks the HOTTEST guy I had ever seen. My first thought was DANG! He is cute! My second thought... He looks like he could be in the military... And of course I LOVE that idea. We started talking and he was really easy to talk to. I kept thinking I should really hook him up with one of my good friends (since I was crushing on Dion's friend at the time).... I didn't have a ton of time to really talk to him because I was in a hurry to get home and get things ready for my sister Whitney's bachelorette party. However I found out he was getting baptized the next night and I thought that was so cool! He also told me that he came to Utah to joust... His thing was that girls love a guy in shining armor! He is right about that one! The whole time I was talking to him I was texting Kim all about him... We thought it would be kinda fun to go to his baptism but I thought it would be really awkward since I had just met him, I didn't have his number to find out any more info and Whitney was going through the temple at about the same time....

I let things go for about a week. I had Whitney's wedding to help with, Dion's family in town and this other guy on my mind. However I really looked forward to seeing him when he would come around the office. I had no problem with him stopping by the office! Whitney's wedding came and went... Every so often I would talk to her about this Eric guy. She knows me really well and would make comments about me liking him and I would deny it.

Our next big encounter happened on the 19th of January. We had a staff meeting where we were going to sign up to work in groups. Before the meeting started I was talking to my only real friend in the office (Marisa) and was telling her that she needed to meet this guy! We were going to sit by him and hang out with him but by the time we got in there the seats by him were taken. After the meeting a Sports Night was going on and I ended up staying to hang out since he was there. I still didn't want to admit I liked him but at the same time something fascinated me about him. Marisa had to go and help out at basketball so she left... however a little while later I decided to go and see her because I was kinda bored and Eric wasn't really around me. After seeing her for a while I went back to Sports Night and started talking with Hayley. Before I knew it Eric came and sat down by us. Next thing I know Isaac walks in and just stares at me. This was so super awkward! Eric noticed this and decided to glare at him and he put his arm around me to let Isaac know not to bother me. I loved being close to him! Eric ended up walking me to my car to make sure Isaac wasn't following me and then Hayley and I drove him over to his car. After dropping him off we talked about what a nice guy he was...

The next day Whitney and Dion left to go home to Australia. Dion pulled me aside and informed me that he had had a talk with Brian and was told that Brian didn't like me. It got even worse when Brian showed up to the airport to see them off. What an awkward night! However the whole night I kept thinking about Eric and his arm being around me!

Friday came and I was being super sarcastic with Brian because I was frustrated about the way he was going about in a sense leading me on. While this was going on I randomly get a text from Eric asking me if I was going to go to video game night. I asked him if he wanted me to and he said yes. It was at that moment I began thinking that maybe he could actually like me. I was at my brother Ammon's basketball game at the time and so I told him that I would come a little later. While watching the game Brian finally made it clear that he didn't like me and I had a good cry because I felt I had wasted months of my life on him.... After crying for a few minutes I decided that I was done with it all and wanted to move on... After the game Ammon, Lacey, Cori, Ry, Lilly and me went over to game night and hung out with Eric for a while. While there he made a comment about how Hayley had been talking about me to him and was telling him he should ask me out. I kinda laughed about it and then sent Hayley a text finding out what she was doing. After leaving the room and heading down to the car I get another text from Eric saying that he thought Hayley had a great idea. I had to agree! We spent the rest of the weekend texting each other and decided to hang out on Monday night together.

Monday came and I was SUPER excited to spend time with Eric... How could I not be?!?! He followed me home from work and we hung out at my mom's... Everything went well and we really hit it off! Since then we have spent time together almost every day (minus the few days he was sick and the few days he was out of town jousting)... Every day I fall more and more in love with him!
